Norman A. Hughes, world-renowned sculptor and visionary artist has led the collectible industry with his designs of African American and ethnic figurines for more than 20 years.

 Shalique was shopping in the bazaar for her wedding when she heard that her lover, Mozambique, had been captured by traders.
She rushed to the shore the last place he had been seen. Shalique could find no trace of him or the ship that had carried him away.

 The Nubian village of Tutholo has a long tradition of producing the finest lyre players in the region.
This tradition goes back thousands of years.
Many young boys in the village want to become musicians, but only those with exceptional interest and talent are selected.
Girls may also play the lyre, but in traditional ceremonies only boys and men are permitted to play the sacred songs.
